Also known as aluminum cladding, plate aluminum panels are comprised of solid aluminum, making them highly durable. Additionally, plate aluminum provides you with a seemingly limitless number of fabrication options.
Plate Aluminum
Aluminum is the second most abundant metallic element in the Earth’s crust after silicon, yet it is a comparatively new industrial metal that has been produced in commercial quantities for just over 100 years. It weighs about one-third as much as steel or copper; is malleable, ductile, and easily machined and cast; and has excellent corrosion resistance and durability.
Processing and Fabrication
At Castle Architectural Metals, our CNC capabilities enable us to fabricate plate aluminum to your specifications, adapting it to your unique application. Plate aluminum paneling is perfect for custom finishes and colorations, allowing us to achieve your desired aesthetic.
The Primary Benefits of Plate Aluminum Wall Panels
- Lightweight and easy to install
- High rigidity and weather resistant
- Possesses sound abatement qualities
- Moisture resistant
- Eco-friendly
- Low-maintenance
- Stain-resistant
- Available with various finishes, including:
- Coil-Coated
- Paint/Powder-Coating
- Anodized
Coil-Coating
Our coil-coated plate aluminum paneling provides additional advantages. The aluminum is sanitized, primed, and coated during the coil-coating process while the unwound coil is pulled through a specialized production line. Once the process is complete, the coil is rewound, forming a highly durable, evenly cured panel. Due to its versatility and flexibility, coil-coated paneling is adaptable to all types of architectural installations.

V-Grooving
Our state-of-the-art CNC machinery gives us the capacity to v-groove plate aluminum panels. V-grooving prevents oil canning, the visible distortion that can ruin the pristine look of your architectural installation.
Plate aluminum is also non-combustible, making it an extremely safe architectural façade material. In addition, our trusted network of finishers can add powder-coated paint finishes, maximizing the plate aluminum’s longevity while maintaining its stunning aesthetics for decades.
