Architectural Paneling Materials

At Castle Architectural Metals, we use the highest quality materials to fabricate paneling. Learn more about the benefits of some of our most popular architectural cladding materials.

Composite Metal Panels

Composite metals, also referred to as metal composite material (MCM), has characteristics that correlate with several tangible benefits. Aluminum composite metal (ACM) is the most popular form of composite metal paneling. This paneling is lightweight yet durable, making it easy to form while maintaining structural integrity. Its composite core helps prevent warping while sustaining a sleek design aesthetic. ACM paneling is easy to install and maintain, cutting down labor costs. Additionally, many types of ACM paneling are resistant to weathering, corrosion, and UV exposure.

Plate Aluminum Panels

  • High resistance to impact and environmental conditions – Withstands harsh climates and physical stress.
  • Can be custom-fabricated into various shapes and sizes – Supports unique architectural designs and detailing. Additionally, our CNC machinery enables us to v-groove plate aluminum paneling, preventing distortion.
  • Plate aluminum paneling has a long lifespan wand requires minimal maintenance
  • Environmentally friendly – Fully recyclable, contributing to sustainable building practices.

Phenolic Panels / High-Pressure Laminates (HPL)

  • Highly durable and impact-resistant – Designed to withstand daily wear and extreme weather conditions.
  • Available in a wide variety of textures and designs – Mimics natural materials such as wood, stone, and metal.
  • UV-resistant, making it ideal for outdoor applications – Prevents fading and discoloration over time.
  • Resistant to moisture, mold, and bacteria – Ideal for humid climates and areas exposed to water.
  • Phenolic panels are available with fire-rated options for enhanced safety – Meets fire safety regulations for exterior applications.
  • Requires minimal maintenance – Easy to clean and resistant to stains, reducing upkeep costs.
  • Lightweight yet structurally strong – Simplifies installation while providing long-term durability.

Insulated Metal Panels

  • Insulated metal panels provide excellent thermal insulation, improving energy efficiency – Reduces heat transfer and lowers HVAC expenses.
  • Reduces HVAC costs due to superior insulation properties – Helps maintain comfortable indoor temperatures year-round.
  • Acts as both an exterior cladding and insulation layer – Helps eliminate the need for additional insulation materials.
  • Resistant to moisture and condensation buildup – Prevents mold and mildew growth within wall assemblies.
  • Available in various finishes and textures – Supports aesthetic and performance requirements for different applications.
  • Fire-resistant options available – Meets fire safety regulations while enhancing structural integrity.

Single Skin Profile Panels

  • Single skin profile panels are available in a variety of profiles and finishes – Offers design flexibility for different architectural styles.
  • Provides a modern, industrial aesthetic – Ideal for contemporary and commercial projects.
  • Resistant to corrosion and weathering – Performs well in harsh environmental conditions.
  • Can be perforated for enhanced ventilation and design flexibility – Improves airflow while maintaining aesthetic appeal.

Flat Lock Panels

  • Creates a sleek, seamless appearance – Provides a clean, uniform look with minimal visible fasteners.
  • Flat lock panels are easy to install with interlocking seams – Ensures a secure, weathertight fit.
  • Allows for creative design versatility – Can be installed horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.
  • Can be made from various metals, including aluminum, copper, and zinc – Enhances durability and aesthetic appeal.
  • Highly durable and weather-resistant – Withstands wind, rain, and temperature fluctuations.
  • Low maintenance and long-lasting – Requires minimal upkeep while maintaining its appearance.
  • Can be installed over different substrates – Compatible with wood, masonry, and metal framing.
